Patricia Blair, my mother and I shopped for at least five hours, both insisting that my cramps would get better if I got some exercise. By the time we walked home my feet were killing me, and Mrs. Blair insisted on a pair of heels for the night. Id be even more uncomfortable later on, I couldnt wait. It seemed like Charlie could though because he had apparently been out all day as well. He got back even later than we had with a soccer bag and a yellow and orange jersey on. He didnt seem to want to talk to anybody either, even when Mrs. Blair asked how the game went he went straight up the stairs and almost immediately the wa

As I sat in the E.R. that Saturday afternoon my foots throbbing pain numbing and the Vicodin beginning to kick in, I dug in my purse for my phone to find one new text message from my friend Eric. Are you going to the melodrama tonight?
Hmm As long as I get outta this place soon. I answered aloud before typing anything into my phone. My sister looked up from the magazine shed been reading, startled that I was talking so loud. I dunno Im at the E.R. I answered, holding my phone up to try and find service.

Being the gentleman he was Charlie opened the door for me when we got to the car, and I managed to get in without looking like an idiot, trying to get in the wrong side. He tossed the bag into my lap as he got into the drivers seat and started the car.
Thanks for taking me to the store.
No problem, is there anything else you need? He asked as he started to drive.
Nah, I think Im good for now. Besides Im pretty sure your mom is planning on taking me out shopping.
My mum is taking you out shopping? I could see a smile curling the edges of his lips.

Charlie came into the dining room first, holding a black leather jacket over his shoulder. I just about rolled my eyes at how he looked. It was so Hollywood-esque I was expecting him to hop on some fancy little bike and drive off, whisking the girl away to live their fancy life in Italy.
Are you ready to leave? He asked, looking directly at me. I dont know where else he wouldve been looking, Im the one whose suitcase was gone.
Yeah, I guess so. Mom can I have some money? I turned to my mom, not wanting to spend the few precious dollars I had on clothes especially since I didnt have a job yet f

Mrs. Blair droned on and on. She was the type of person that if she called you on the phone you could set it down and come back an hour later and shed have no idea that you left at all. She talked right on through the very bland dinner we ate, stopping only to tell Matthew and Evan to stop bickering, or to tell Charlie to sit up straight. My mom told her vaguely about our family. She didnt mention that the only one in her family to go through with an arranged marriage was her mother. Mrs. Blair had already explained that her marriage had been arranged, and explained that Mr. Blair was on a business trip and wouldnt return f

My dad is a rock. He is solid, he is powerful. He can still pick me up and toss me over his shoulder. He is never seen to cry, he can never be swayed or damaged by opinion. He is a real estate agent, and he pushes those deals and sways those clients with confidence and experience. He flexes his arms at the dinner table when I ask him and points exactly which way it is to the beach or the gun show. He is a tree, a mountain, a thick and formidable presence in any room, in any place, against any person.

"Who do you suppose that is?" Harry asked, looking at his two friends that were standing with him inside the Leaky Cauldron.
"I don't know, I've never seen him before. He doesn't even look like a wizard to me." Hermione answered matter-of-factly. "I'd know, I've seen a lot of wizards, and I can tell the difference between a wizard and a muggle but…" She trailed off, her nose scrunching up as she scrutinized the boy who was asking different wizards something.
"But what?" Harry frowned, shifting his weight so his new books wouldn't seem so heavy.
"He doesn't look like a muggle either…"
"Then what is he?"

So I guess just a little journal if anybody is still out there. I don't have any intention of updating soon unless I really get the muse to write something bloody brilliant. I moved into my dorm a few days ago. It's kind of lonely up here and a little bit boring. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
Going twice...
So I pretty much have zero motivation to write Fortune Cookies Don't Lie. I really want to do some writing but I just can't seem to pick it back up. I'm not sure if I should force myself to do it or write something else, or just go crawl under a rock with my new laptop, it'd have to be close to home so I could still have the internet.
Mm yes that's all I have to say.. Not even sure if anybody is out there. If I get no feedback then it's gone
